iPhone 5 Price – How Much Will You Pay For The iPhone 5?

The iPhone 5 is going to come out in 2012, either during the Spring or during the fall. In the article below, we will try to guesstimate the iPhone 5 price. Be sure to check out the comment section for opinions on what people think the iPhone 5 price should be. We also encourage you to leave a comment about a fair price for the iPhone 5 as it will help everyone see where Apple and their legendary iPhone stand, in the minds of its consumers, especially because Apple is a slightly different company now, without Steve Jobs at the helm.
Expected features in the iPhone 5 and its effect on the iPhone 5 Price
The iPhone 5 is expected to have a whole lot of features. Some of the most important ones are NFC support, LTE support, 3D camera functionality, larger (4 inches) screen size, thinner design, A6 processor, iOS 6 operating system and hopefully, a much improved Siri.
Other features that could possibly be included in the iPhone 5 and therefore having the ability to affect the iPhone 5 price are features such as a projector in the iPhone 5, possible slide out Qwerty keyboard, possible color variations for the iPhone, where the iPhone 5 could be made with a new technology called liquid metal manufacturing.
The iPhone 4S, as shown in the price description below, costs $399 for the 64GB model when it is bought with a contract from AT&T, Sprint or Verizon. Our guesstimate is that the iPhone 5 price will be $499 for the 64 GB model. Take at a look at the guesstimates below for details on the iPhone 5 price.
iPhone 5 Price – Our guesses
The current price of iPhone 4S models
16 GB ($199), 32GB ($299), 64GB ($399)
Future price of iPhone 5 Models ???
16 GB ($299), 32GB ($399), 64GB ($499)

The current price of iPhone 4S Unlocked models
16 GB ($649), 32GB ($749), 64GB ($849)
Future price of iPhone 5 Unlocked models???
16 GB ($749), 32GB ($849), 64GB ($999)
Why an iPhone 5 price of more than $499 for a 64GB model will be too much in our opinion?
Even if the iPhone 5 comes with all the features that were discussed in the passage above or elsewhere in this blog, we think that Apple will be making a pretty bad mistake if the iPhone 5 price is more than $499 for the 64 GB model. There are several reasons for this. First of all, there is the intense competition from Android phones. Sure, Android phones are just not the same as the iPhone but some of the specs on the newly released Android phones are pretty incredible, especially when you consider the price points they are being offered at.
Another major factor that could affect the iPhone 5 price is the release date and the price point of the Google Nexus Prime. Everyone is touting the Nexus Prime to be a future iPhone killer. If the Nexus prime is priced attractively, Apple will be hard pressed to even collect the $499 for the 64 GB iPhone 5, in our opinion. With Apple being a slightly different company without Steve Jobs, we won’t even be surprised if the iPhone 5 price for the 64 GB model remains at $399, the current price of the iPhone 4S 64GB contracted model.
We think Apple is going to have a hard time with the pricing of the iPhone 5 because they are facing a multitude of problems with the iPhone 4S, that was released just about a month ago. Some of those problems are discussed below.
How much will you pay for the iPhone 5???
How the iPhone 4S problems could possibly affect the reputation of Apple, thereby affecting iPhone 5 price and sales?
The iPhone 4S has had two kinds of major problems. There has been problems with the battery life and there has been a problem with Siri. Customers are pretty pissed off about both kinds of problems and many are regretting the costly decision to upgrade from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4S. Unless Apple get their act together quickly with the iPhone 4S, we think they might have a hard time penetrating the market with the iPhone 5, both in terms of price competitiveness as well as brand management.
